Can I use a Dramatists Guild sample contract for an international production?
Our sample contracts were not written to apply to laws outside of the United States. You may have luck using them as a starting point, but we ultimately recommend contacting the other country’s writers’ guild or hiring a personal attorney with experience in the country of question. Dramatists Guild members working in Great Britain can also access some of the services from the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain for free through our
Good Neighbour Initiative.
