Why do you ask for ethnicity?
We here at the Guild understand that many of our members deal with racism, and we actively work against any kind of discrimination that members face in the theatre. By asking for your ethnicity, we are merely making sure that we have a unique identifier for your file. Since some members could have the same name, we ask a variety of other identifying questions to make sure that your file is personalized to you. These identifiers include, but are not limited to: date of birth, ethnicity, home address, etc.
